If you have a soil base, you’ll need to clear the area of any debris or vegetation, and ensure that you have a sturdy, level base for your metal building. A concrete base will, of course, require a measured and poured foundation, and perhaps additional permits. And if you plan on having a wooden base, on something like a dock in the water, you’ll need that dock checked out to see if it will be able to support your metal building in both the short and long term.
