      This October, the center celebrated the Annual Kathina Ceremony 2024—a time-honored Buddhist tradition—in their brand-new Dhammakaya Meditation building. The event marked a major milestone for the center, offering a serene and spacious environment for both reflection and celebration.

      The Kathina Ceremony is one of the most significant events in the Buddhist calendar. Celebrated at the end of the three-month Vassa (rainy season retreat), this ceremony is a time for laypeople to express gratitude and support for the monastic community. Devotees offer robes, food, and other essentials to monks, fostering a spirit of generosity and communal harmony.
