Arco Building Systems has been family-owned and -operated ever since Tom Freeman founded the company in 1979. Tom’s honest and customer-centered ideals have been the core of Arco through our 40-plus years of operation, continuing through today under the leadership of the Wade family. We are pleased to have welcomed the addition of Corinna Wade and Grace Kaldor to Arco in 2021. Though new to Arco, they have already been a tremendous help to our company mission of upholding our commitment to integrity and customer service—all with an enthusiastic and helpful attitude. Our expanded team has been abundantly valuable to what we do here at Arco. Get to know our newest hires below!

Traditions ContinuedArco’s current president, Carolyn Akers Wade, began her journey with the company on July 1, 1991. Fast-forward to Carolyn’s 30th anniversary with Arco, July 1, 2021—her daughter, Corinna, started with the company. It’s certainly sentimental and a great pairing as Corinna grew up coming into the Arco office with her mom and has known much of the team for much of her life.
“I am very lucky to be able to follow in her footsteps,” says Corinna Wade, building consultant for Arco Building Systems.
Corinna, having interned for a public relations firm that works in the MedTech and Biotech industries, carries the confidence to communicate knowledgeably with customers in order to help them make informed decisions. Her curiosity and eagerness to learn more about Arco’s products are shared among the company’s new hires, who are all passionate about best assisting every customer.
New Faces, Same Arco Difference
“There is something unique and special about a family-owned business, and you can see its effect in our staff and our customers,” says Grace Kaldor, building consultant for Arco Building Systems.

Our team has been lucky to take on new additions who understand the importance of our ethics.
“Since my first day at Arco, I have been told to be honest with my customers and to build a relationship with them,” says Corinna. “At Arco, we make it a point to answer every call and go out of our way to make sure the customer is informed about their purchases while being guided through the process. There truly is nothing better than having a great conversation with a customer and being able to help them get the building they need whether it is to help grow their business, finally start the hobby they’ve always wanted to try, or just a place to store their belongings.”
Finding a new steel building is a significant decision, and our team is available to have conversations and answer any questions our customers may have as a part of the process of guiding them to a beneficial decision. Communication is key, and we make it a point to pick up every call and respond to every message. Our veteran team and even our newest hires have developed long-lasting relationships with customers to make sure they are paired with the right solution.
“The Arco difference is what sets us apart from other companies as we aim to get to know the customer’s wants and needs to do our part to provide them with whatever that may be,” says Corinna. “Something else that I admire about Arco is our honesty. We feel that it is more important to tell the customer the truth, even if it means that we don’t make a sale.”

“Carolyn and Todd have done an amazing job creating a company culture that supports teamwork,” says Grace. “The collaboration at Arco makes a difference, and you can see the results in our customer’s appreciation.”
Arco’s tight-knit team has embraced our new hires, being a resource along every step of the way as they learn more and more about our products. Corinna and Grace have been welcomed in as a part of a helpful atmosphere that contributes toward our goal of hospitality and customer satisfaction. With integrity, strong ethics, and a friendly spirit, our newest team members have taken on the challenge of learning all there is to know about the steel building industry, truly being valuable additions to what we do.
“Our company strongly believes in teamwork,” says Corinna. “I could walk down the halls of our office and ask any sales associate a question, and I know that I would have multiple people offer to help.”
