Arco Steel Building Houses Tribute to Troops Serving All Over the World
When Norwood Poole and Johnnie Wood, partners in the Money Mizer pawn shop in Fayetteville, NC, wanted to build a new store, they wanted to honor the US Army and Air Force troops at nearby Ft. Bragg and Pope Air Force Base. They had a local artist in mind to paint a mural depicting airborne troops in action, and wanted a store that would reflect the gratitude they felt for our nation's defenders.
They turned to Henry Faircloth of Generations Construction, who immediately turned to Arco Steel Buildings to provide the solid structure they needed with an exterior finish to attract the upscale clientele the business targets.

The result was a 96' x 70' x 12'-8" LS with a ½:12 roof slope that enabled Faircloth to design and specify a ceiling that created the "canvas" for local artist Sandra Dee Nicholson.
"We wanted to do something special at the store to salute our troops," Poole said. "Not just because we're here in Fayetteville, but because we appreciate all the liberties they protect that so many take for granted."
