Based on the positive responses Arco Steel Buildings has had for the Building of the Month over the past years, Arco Steel Buildings is launching the Steel Building of the Year recognition.
"When building owners and operators express their satisfaction with their new steel buildings," said Allen Freeman, Arco CEO, " they also share advice about why their project was a success. This program intends to recognize these projects --- and their advice."
"The advice from these steel building owners, or those who are working in or maintaining these buildings validates what we say when people are thinking about purchasing a steel building." said Ally Hooks, Arco sales representative. "As much as we think we know a lot from our 35 years of experience, the advice and feedback helps us evaluate our ongoing improvement program for Arco's products and customer service."
"The "Building of the Year" and the "Building of the Month" programs recognize property owners, building owners and building maintenance people who often don't get recognized for this aspect of their job, " added Dick Betsch, Arco General Manager, "and these are the people who know how critical getting the right building, and getting reliable, quality construction can be with the success of that building."

Rules
There are 4 categories for winners.
- Building of the Year 2013
- Building of the Year 2012
- Building Hall of Fame: 2 buildings, completed prior to 2012, will be selected
"Year" is based on the year that the building was finished.
- 1st Prize for each category is $500 and a plaque
- Winners selected based on picture and project quality
- To enter, go to https://www.arcosteel.com/steel-building-of-the-year-entry/ to provide 3 or more pictures, with at least 1 each of interior and exterior views along with answering three questions (up to 100 words each)
- Entries are not required to have been previously awarded Building of the Month.
- Gift card awards for first 100 entries. One entry per building; you may submit entries for multiple buildings. First entry received for a building/project qualifies for the gift card.
- All entries due by (midnight) 9/30/14.
- A complete list of winners will be available on this website after Nov, 1, 2014.
