It was great to hear Rodney's story because he was so pleased with his experience with Arco as well as his final product. "The primary purpose of the building was to be a garage for my truck and dry storage for my boat. As you can see, I have a variety of other items in there as well. The building has worked nicely for its primary purposes, but has also proven perfect for keeping my lawn mower, four wheeler, utility trailer, and a variety of other personal items neatly organized, dry, and secure. In order to make a longer story short, I keep almost everything I own, other than my home and household goods, inside my Arco building, and I could probably put most of that in there too if I wanted to."
Rodney found the decision to choose steel over other construction materials easy. "I chose steel because I believed it to be the most cost-effective way to get the most building for my money when compared to a stick-built structure. Other factors that helped me make the decision to go with steel were; the structure was quick to erect and super sturdy/solid, very low maintenance costs for years to come, and the unfinished interior is much cleaner and manageable for us OCD folks to keep clean than wood."
The reasons that Arco was the right choice for his project were clear. "REPUTATION and CUSTOMER SERVICE! The builder who I had discussed erecting my building with heavily recommended Arco over the competitors. Well, even as much faith as I had in my builder, I had to do my own research. After making a couple phone calls, getting several quotes, and talking with numerous customer service personnel, it did not take me long to figure out that he was right. I even went and looked at several buildings from Arco and other suppliers that were put up in my area to make an in-person comparison. When you consider quality, customer service, and price, Arco is the right choice. To be honest, customer service was huge for me. Ally and Marcia worked hard to help me with some of the decisions I had to make, they always returned phone calls, and were prompt in getting any information that I needed. The customer service was awesome, and that is a huge compliment coming from a person that realizes that he can be difficult to deal with from time to time and makes deliberate and well thought out decisions."
"Arco is leaps and bounds above the others that I spoke to." He advises anyone trying to decide on a supplier to "make the calls" in order to make an informed decision.
"Arco's customer service is great. I can't say enough about Allie and Marcia, they were great," said Rodney. Rodney knows from experience that it's important to do the prep work ahead of time, especially when it came to getting the concrete pad poured. "If I had to do it over again I wouldn't care if I poured it too early."
Rodney enjoys his steel building because it's "open, roomy and spacious, and it's insulated. It's clean-looking on the inside, not cluttered." A lot of people have asked about his building. "All the neighbors wanted to see it. It's a rural subdivision. 6 or 8 of the neighbors have come to look at it. A lot of times they bring family and friends."
